UK Land Estates – Heating solution
About The Client:
UK Land Estates is the largest owner of some of the most prestigious industrial estates in the North East of England, including Team Valley Trading Estate.
Project Background:
We were commissioned by UK Land Estates to replace a heater within an industrial unit situated on Dukesway, Team Valley. The existing heating system within this unit was comprised of one Powrmatic PGUH 75 warm air heater. This had been installed for many years so inevitably it was coming towards the end of its life cycle. Upon our engineer’s safety inspection, the old heater was found to have a cracked heat exchanger deeming it unsafe to use and needing to be replaced.

Project Solution
After removal of the old heater and a survey of the site, our engineers installed a brand new Winterwarm XR warm air heater. In this instance, the Winterwarm had a 40kW output which was appropriate for the size of the unit. The new heater was suspended from the ceiling, connected to the existing gas line and flued through the existing penetration with a new terminal on the roof.

This industrial unit situated on Dukesway, Team Valley now benefits from a much more efficient, effective and user-friendly heating system. The quality of the Winterwarm XR heater partnered with our recommended annual service will allow this heating system to be effective for many years to come.
