About the client
After meeting with the client and assessing the building requirements, we recommended the installation of three Powrmatic 50kW suspended warm air unit heaters in conjunction with two de-stratification fans which will maximise the efficiency of the system by stopping the warm air from stratifying at high level by blowing the warm air down to low level where it is required. Our proposal also included the installation of fully room sealed balanced flue systems to each heater and 7 day time and temperature control systems.
Once our quotation had been accepted and a date had been arranged our first task was to strip out the existing cabinet heaters and some of the associated gas pipework. Once this was complete we were able to move on to the hanging of the warm air heaters and the installation of the balanced flue systems. During the quotation period our client informed us that the north east part of the building in particular would benefit from direct warmth due to the nature of work which was carried out there, to account for this one of the heaters was installed directly above this area at the client’s request. The remaining heaters were fitted on walls opposite and diagonal from the first to distribute heat more evenly and efficiently throughout the building.
